With AAP, where are we headed?

Delhi disappoints.

For all those people claiming that AAP was the actual winner in the elections and Congress the actual loser, well you need to reconsider.

First let us imagine the two cases, first, had AAP not been there.
In Rajasthan, Congress was portraying itself as a symbol of development, similar to Delhi. Image of Gehlot and Sheila being quite similar and also unlike Rajasthan, in Delhi government also had a tarnished image due to corruption and security of women, had it been a two way contest, it is fair to assume that Congress would have lost big and that being the case BJP would have emerged victorious. Just ask yourself who you would have voted for had AAP not been there. I'm sure had you all not been spoon fed over last one year with baseless tall clams and half baked truths, most of you would have rooted for BJP, may be just to uproot Congress from power if you would not have found any other reason.

But unfortunately that didn't happen.

What actually happened is AAP came into the scenario, resulting in a hung assembly in Delhi.

Had you asked Congress, what would they wish from 2013 Assembly Election in Delhi, given that they would lose big, they would have simply said that they would wish to prevent BJP from forming government. In which they succeeded. Now let us look at the points which support this argument of whether it's a possibility or not.

Mr. Kejriwal had been claiming that he would get complete majority in Assemble elections, sometimes he said that he would get all 70 seats while sometimes he claimed 38-50 seats, courtesy surveys they conducted through Cicero Associates & Consultants, owned by a Congress leader. Also Congress didn't campaign that extensively in Delhi. Neither the national leaders neither the ruling government. Why would they let that happen? Did they want AAP to actually emerge victorious and promote them for Loksabha elections?

Mr. Kejriwal during his entire term never revealed a single colleague or official from income tax department who was corrupt. He repeatedly says that he was fed up with the corruption in the office which led to his resigning. We all know how many politicians he claims to expose. Then why not even a single person from his office which he observed so closely?

Secondly, wife of Mr. Kejriwal is a bureaucrat in Delhi for last few years. During the whole time Congress had government in both Delhi and center. How many times was she transferred from Delhi? Seeing the power the governments have, I'm referring to cases of Durga Shakti and Khemka. How many genuinely truthful bureaucrats get this special treatment?

Talking about genuinely truthful personnel,  the first name that comes to my mind is Kiran Bedi. I'm confident that not a single person can deny that fact. Let's rewind clocks back. Kiran Bedi, who everyone saw as the role model along with Anna Hazare, the person who led the movement for RTI decide to launch a campaign against corruption. They form a team with three other people namely, Prashant Bhushan, Agnivesh, and Mr. Kejriwal. The movement got famous because of the first two people I have mentioned. They gained popularity and people associated with them. Then what happened?

Agnivesh himself confessed he was dong Congress' work. He was asked by Congress leaders to be integral part of the movement. The rest two formed the party en-cashing the popularity that the movement got solely because of Kiran Bedi and Anna Hazare. Prashant Bhushan too was famous at that time, but for his anti national stand in matter of Kashmir.

So why can't it be a possibility that Mr. Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan too were fielded by Congress just like Agnivesh?

Now let us talk about Mr. Kejriwal too.

late M C Sharma, encounter specialist of Delhi police sacrificed his life in fight against terrorism. Two politicians claimed that it was fake. One was Amar Singh, who we all know either for his friendship with Bachchans or for his illogical comments. Second was Digvijay Singh. I don't need to tell you, but let me give an example of what he has done, he called Osama Bin Laden Ji a martyr and suggested that he should have been given proper farewell. Nevertheless, Indian judiciary gave a judgement in favor of Delhi Police, claiming that there was no reason to question martyrdom of late M C Sharma. why am I telling you this?

Mr. Kejriwal, respectfully became the third person to call the encounter fake. He even e\went to the lengths of questioning judgement by court. Where was his national spirit then? Didn't he let down the tri-colour? Thing didn't stop there, he met controversial Muslim cleric Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan in Bareilly who has been accused of riots in Bareilly and has been source of numerous anti-nation fatwas. What does that tell us about Mr. Kejriwal? We all know that Prashant Bhushan believes that Kashmir should be separated from India. How come are they patriot they claim themselves to be.

Tehelka chairperson Tarun Tejpal is generally associated with INC. He recently was responsible for a shameful act. Shazia Ilmi, one of the biggest leaders of AAP and the one who was caught claiming that she would organize protests in exchange of money, defended her. Where are the people who claim that AAP is firm to make Delhi a safer place for women? Their biggest feminist face is busy defending a rape-accused, who confessed of all the charges. I found that shameful.

Kumar Vishwas has been most eloquent all this time. He is confident even though he was caught boasting about the black money he mints via his shows. In initial phrase of election campaigns, he claimed, "hum yahan jeetne nahi aye hain, hum to rayta falane aye hain." A common person can't miss the point, what he meant was that they want to spoil the party for BJP. Now please don't say Congress was winning this time.

Mr. Kejriwas claims he left his job of IT commissioner and could have made crores. Fact his he was never IT commissioner, in fact none of the persons in his batch is even now IT commissioner. Then why lies? False claims and misguidance, that's what AAP leaders have been doing all along.

Their arrogant supporters give illogical statement and show double standards.

AAP - we don't believe in coalition government and won't support or seek support form either BJP or Congress.
AAP - We would fight Loksabha election and would try to emerge third biggest party.

If they don't want coalition government what would they do by becoming third biggest party then?
It's clear that ultimate aim of AAP is to prevent BJP from forming government in center.

I urge you all to realize this and not let India suffer as Delhi did. We want to have a stable government with a strong leader.

For people saying "he deserves a chance" or "at least he is doing something". Don't let this chance spoil the next five years. Others might deserve the chance more.

AAP might not have been a Congress b-team, but even in that case do they  deserve the support?
Please consider these elections more than fashion statement in which you support AAP because that would give you a cool dude tag. We all know how trend savvy Delhi youth is.

Politics is not a fair game, there are always possibilities, please look into them.

PS. Thanks for reading, I'm open to all discussions. But I would request you to be precise and logical while putting forward the argument.

  2. Sad to see people being so biased towards BJP saying such stupid and baseless things. You might not support AAP but I have never heard such a baseless argument. It is also sad to see that an intelligent youth is being so biased.

First time a political party is transparent, look at their website for a change -http://www.aamaadmiparty.org/ ..people are being given tickets from normal families..look at background of people who contested..you can look at their criminal records on website itself...you said about sting operation..it is sad that media never got back and clearly showed how election commission gave them a clean cheat..you can look at the full video on their website...saying congress did not do contest properly in delhi, it is clear that congress is living in illusion..thats why they lost everywhere..yes, BJP won and might even win in center...but the sad thing is you are discounting the AAP people who worked so hard with so honesty to compete with mighty forces...and you also said Kejriwal was not IRS officer..thats the most laughable comment i can hear...and about Kiran Bedi an Anna ji...that is the problem that such good people do no want to enter politics..people like you do no want to enter politics because u think it is not a place to be honest..they have done that...every single rupee has been counted..open eyes and respect what they did..

and u may have never done even lil bit of social service...i think all u can do is sit on computer and comment on people who have been working from a decade..if you have some conscience, you should look at this video from 2002... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVE-dHENynU

  3. @Anon

Instead of calling my arguments stupid, I would have appreciated had you in fact tried to give a logical counter argument to each of the point stated.

Now let me do exactly what I wished you would have done, that is giving logical argument to each of the point stated.

First of all you called me biased. Well why do you think I am biased. I have simply stated the points which led me to believe the theory. and all the points I stated are very much true. You too know that.

You are saying that people from normal families are being given tickets. Well what does BJP do? Was Modi's father a businessman? Or was he a politician? What about Shivraj Singh Chouhan? Dr. Harshwardha? These are top politicians. So we can obviously assume that if these can reach to the top, anyone can. Secondly check your facts. How many of the contestants that got AAP ticket belonged to either BJP or Congress earlier? Can you find that out?

    Election commission gave clean chit.
Well, what you sis was you proved my point. AAP made a false claim, and you believed it. Election commission in fact stated that they didn't give any sort of clean chit to anyone.

As for Congress not campaigning properly, I proposed a theory and gave a logical base to support it. Your assumption is based on no input at all.

I never said Mr. Kejriwal was not an IRS officer. I said that he was not IRS commissioner. He claimed so and IRS organization had to release a statement that he was not. Please have a look at the link - http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/kejriwal-never-worked-as-i-t-commissioner-irs-association/1/326176.html

Who says I do not want to enter politics. The fact that I am propagating my views means that I am part of political system in India. I don't essentially have to contest election to be part of Indian political system. That's similar to what Anna Hazare and Kiran Bedi might be thinking, I'm not sure exactly what prevents them from contesting elections.

As for the video link you provided, I never said that he did no social work at all. The whole point of the post was to state that views of AAP are not what I would want a national party to have. They have given anti-national statements and have shown new level of hypocrisy. I would request you in fact to read the post again without any bias and ponder over points that I have stated. I assume that you too are intelligent.

  4. (A) Yes, you are biased because you did not say anything new. You said every point that BJP says. You just wanted to say that AAP is a creation of congress and it is harming BJP. Congress will say that AAP is a creation of BJP and sometimes both will say that it is a creation of media. Yes, definitely, it has been created by congress as why would congress mind getting defeated so badly in front of AAP. Yes, AAP is a congress creation when so many people were injured in multiple lathi charges for genuine protests by people. Yes, AAP is a congress creation when congress leaders give open threat to common citizen of India who are AAP members. Exposing the scams of big mighty people is something that we should never do and we should just accept the fact that whatever is going on is true and only BJP is the solution to every problem. Interestingly you never talked about the problems that AAP leaders had to face in all these years. We all know how every single thing of theirs have been put to question. Their land deals to personal property and what not. Why don't you do this to BJP and congress leaders because they are very honest, right? Atleast be open enough to accept the fact that corruption in this country is very clearly in both parties. You might still support BJP if you feel that there are less corrupt people there but you cannot deny the fact that corruption has happened in Delhi MCD. However, AAP has to get every question perfect everyday, right? They have to get their seats perfect, they have to show their personal properties and what not? Yes, they should be punished if they had little imperfection. How could they even think of trying to stand up against the mighty and create a hung assembly in Delhi. How dare they do something like this? How could they dare not letting BJP win because BJP is the solution to every problem.

    (B) The surveys of AAP showed 38-50 seats. Yes, they are honest enough to accept that their surveys went wrong. They in fact have logical reasons to this like their inexperience in booth management and the fact that AAP is still a new party and people might have become apprehensive at the last moment. Yes, you might not like their ways but they atleast gave their raw data files and interpretation techniques for people to see. And since they are from AAP, they are not supposed to even talk to people from congress and BJP. How could they ask people from congress and BJP to join them if they feel that they are honest? No, this is not possible. You cannot allow this. They have explanations but why should we listen to them? If they feel both parties have big leaders who are corrupt and if they want to change the way things are done, why should we listen to them? They are the most corrupt people. They are dishonest because they are working with people of congress and BJP, correct. BJP is the solution to every problem.

    (C) You argue that truthful people are transferred, truthful people should be punished and I am really surprised it you feel that these people were not punished? Do you know each and every detail about wife of Kejriwal as to what she had to go through in these years? No. Only transfer is not the way of hurting people. But I am sure Mrs.Kejriwal had a very rosy life in last two years and wow, she has not even been transferred.

  5. (D) Kiran Bedi is the most honest person you have seen. If she is honest, will not she say if Kejriwal and Bhushan are fielded by congress? No, she is also fielded by congress. With you logic, Kiran bedi is also fielded by congress, right? She did not want to enter politics but she did not say that Kejriwal and Bhushan are dishonest. She never says anything against AAP. Still AAP is fielded by congress.

    (e) There are few others points where you talked about Kejriwal, Shazia Ilmi and others and how they let down the tricolor because they supported people you felt were doing shameful act. Friend, you might not agree to their opinion (which might infact be incorrect) but I would like to you dig out the details of how many people accused of sexual assault are in BJP. People do the entire national survey and I am sure you will fine not even a single person there. AAP has to be perfect. They cannot make mistakes. They have corrupted the whole system. they should be thrown out, I agree.

    (f) As for you talking about Kejriwal being IRS officer and claiming he is an IRS commissioner, yes, I did not know this. Yes, this makes Kejriwal the biggest corrupt person on the earth. He might have said it not to be technically correct, but for people to understand but yes he is the more corrupt person on this earth. How can we support AAP? BJP is the way to go!!!

    (g) I dare you to contest assembly elections from BJP as they give tickets to people from normal families. I am sure you will win too. PS: A students preparing for IAS has already won his elections from AAP

    (h) AAP is the worst thing that could have happened to Indi, "anti-national" statements. Sad, you feel so. Infact sad that I am trying to convince the person who after being in India for so many years is not willing enough to accept a party from humble background just because he grew up in a Pro-BJP family. Yes, this is not at all biased.
